How do I book a session or project? Simply click the contact buttons on the Tutoring or Publishing pages to send an inquiry. For tutoring, please include the student's current year group and exam board. For publishing, please attach a sample of the text for a bespoke quote.
Do you offer a free consultation? Yes, I offer a free 15-minute Zoom consultation for all new tutoring families to discuss specific learning goals and exam board requirements.
What are your working hours? I offer early morning sessions (before 05:30 to 07:00 UK time) for international students, as well as evenings and weekends. My publishing and proofreading projects are managed around my full-time teaching commitments with guaranteed turnaround times.

Safety & Credentials
Are you DBS checked? Yes. As a full-time qualified teacher, I hold an enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service, which is available for inspection upon request.
What are your professional qualifications? I hold a 1st Class degree in English, a Master’s in Linguistics, and am currently studying for an MSc in Learning and Teaching at the University of Oxford. I am a qualified teacher, holding QTS and have completed the 2-year ECT Induction Period. I am also a member of the Chartered College of Teaching and the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (CIEP).

Payments & Cancellations
How do I pay? All services are invoiced via Cooper Freelance. Payment is accepted via bank transfer. For tutoring, I request payment 24 hours in advance of the session to secure your slot.
What is your cancellation policy? I require 24 hours' notice for any tutoring cancellations. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged at the full rate. For publishing projects, a 50% deposit is required for larger manuscripts.
